The candidate will be responsible for conducting validation and verification of greenhouse gas assertions and sustainability initiatives projects
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sustainability audits and carbon emission validation and verification in accordance to the requirements of project, certification body & accreditation body.
- Depending on suitability, you will be assigned to conduct verifications or audits for the following areas:
- Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA)
- National Environment Agency (NEA) Carbon Tax Verification
- Greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions – ISO 14064
- Sustainability projects
- Ensure timely completion of projects
- Support development of new products & services in Sustainability
- Involve in periodical technical exchange to improve knowledge in sustainability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/ Electrical / Environmental Engineering, prefer at least 3 years of relevant experience in any of the following industries:
- Petrochemical
- Bulk and specialty chemicals
- Semiconductors and wafer fabrications
- Possess minimum of three (1-3) years’ experience with GHG emissions and performing GHG verifications and/or developing GHG inventories/projects at a reasonable level of assurance in accredited GHG programs
- Candidate with sustainability project experience is most preferred. Other related GHG programs will also be considered (eg. ISO 14064, PAS 2050, PAS 2060, EU Emissions Trading System & etc.).
- Minimum of two (1-2) years sustainability project experience in preferred.
- Experience in performing activities for sustainability projects or consultancy
- Completed 1 year of verification engagement as lead verifier under another recognised accreditation body preferred
- Qualification in Singapore Certified Energy Manager will be an added advantage.
