Job Description
Position: Senior Accountant
Reporting to: Co-Chief Executive Officer
Direct Reports: Accountant
Working Location: Admirax, Singapore
Preferred Nationality: Singaporean / Singapore PR
Salary: $6,000 - 7,800
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
· Responsible for the consolidation of group financial reports on a timely basis
· Prepare monthly management accounts
· Balance sheet analysis & recommend best practice for working capital management
Statutory Requirements
· Responsible for the annual statutory audit process, Tax/ ACRA filing
· Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements
Budget & Forecast
· Responsible for Budget controls
· Cash flow forecasting
Systems, Controls & Processes
· Ensure compliance with financial internal controls, policies, processes & procedures
· Develop accounting policies for the group
· Drive process improvements as well as system implementation and enhancements
Coordination
· Internal partnering with the FP&A team and management to ensure all relevant information is captured and reflected in annual plan
· Manage relationships with external parties such as banks, external auditor, company secretary, local tax and government authorities.
Scope
· Group consolidated financials including Singapore & Malaysia
· Any ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by immediate supervisor
Qualifications
· Chartered Accountant / CPA with degree or professional qualification in accountancy.
· At least 5-7 years of working experience in both accounting & finance, preferably in manufacturing and/ or FMCG industry.
· Hands-on, attention to details and good learning attitude
· Strong communication & interpersonal skills
· Possesses good analytical, time management skills and operational excellence
