We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to join our team for a key project with the Land Transport Authority (LTA). This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in critical infrastructure development, ensuring quality and compliance in civil and structural works.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, report defects or non-conformances, and coordinate with the Qualified Person (QP) and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide onsite supervision and maintain accurate site records, ensuring all works align with approved plans.
• Oversee safety, environmental, and health matters, ensuring contractors follow relevant regulations.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the QP and stakeholders, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Assist in reviewing contractor's drawings, method statements, and procedures for proper execution on-site.
• Supervise the installation and monitoring of instrumentation, ensuring compliance with approved plans and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil and Structural (C&S) Engineering.
• Must possess a valid RTO certificate from IES Singapore.
• Self-motivated and able to solve issues independently.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 1 year as an RTO.
• Experience in supervising the installation of monitoring instruments and using software for data presentation and analysis.
