Customer Service Executive (Air Import)
Working Location: Singapore East
Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of shipment processes while ensuring excellent customer communication and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and track pre-alert documents from origin offices or sales support to ensure accurate shipment preparation.
- Continuously track and monitor flight arrivals, promptly notifying customers of any changes or deviations from the expected schedule.
- Collaborate with operations teams and customers to handle survey shipments, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of service.
- Ensure strict adherence to the customer’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the shipment process.
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including customers, warehouses, carriers, and customs, to coordinate shipment requirements and ensure smooth delivery.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to support operational goals.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in airfreight and a solid understanding of import and export processes.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.
