Resident Technical Officer (M&E)
Responsibilities:
-Inspection and supervision of M&E works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations.
-Inspect and conduct all required tests for the project.
-Preparation & issuance of site memos on bad workmanship & non-compliant works.
-As-built drawings checks.
-Monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
-Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
-Attend and witness all on-site testing of architectural works as required by the Client and authorities.
-Check that all architectural works are carried out according to the approved drawings and specifications and conform to all authority standards and requirements.
-Inspect the completed works and record all defects for rectification before handing them over to the Client.
-Others duties and responsibilities listed in project's contract.
Job Requirements:
-Candidate must be registered with BCA/IES as Resident Technical Officer
-M&E RTO shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institute of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers.
-At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Required Skill(s): Supervision of M&E, building and construction works.
-Must attain certification in "BCSS" and "Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2)".
-Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - M&E or equivalent.
-Good communication skills
