About the role:
SIMBA Telecom has been appointed as Singapore’s 4th mobile telecommunications network service provider and currently we are building Singapore’s newest 5G mobile and fixed broadband network.
To join us and be part of this exciting journey, we are looking for telecommunication professional with IP Engineering and networking experience, who also a great team player with right attitude.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Design, plan, and implement the network – OSPF, MPLS, BGP, IPv4/IPv6 Routing
- Lead the IP team in network engineering and daily operational routine tasks to support business goals and continuity
- Front the network testing procedures and acceptances, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Cooperate with cross functional teams to achieve and complete the assigned tasks
- Lead and participate in various projects for the IP network service integration, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, communication links and routing protocols
- Oversee, provide engineering assessment and reviews pertaining to mobile backhaul and fixed network architecture design, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma specialized in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
- Proficiency in IP network engineering, network security, design, operation, and optimization tasks
- Familiar with Internet, MetroEthernet and IPVPN solutions
- Experienced on the network products from Cisco, Huawei, and others
- Essential skills in network routing protocols ISIS, OSPF, eBGP/iBGP, FRR, BFD, LDP, RSVP, VLL and VPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, QoS, MPLS
- Proven ISP transit will be a bonus
