We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for our automated processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, extensive experience with control systems, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control systems for various automation projects.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control system design, programming, and testing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Travel as needed to support project installations, troubleshooting, and customer requirements.
- Be available for overtime, off-shift hours, and holiday work as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or equivalent; or at least 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in controls engineering.
- Proficient in programming with Allen Bradley and Siemens S7 control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
