This will be a 1 year contract position based in Jurong West.
Responsibilities
- Designing schematic of digital, mix signal and power electronics.
- Designing embedded systems (A/D, D/A, high speed Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA, I/O communications (CAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and others.), volatile and non-volatile memory).
- Designing products to meet EMC compliance certification and safety requirements.
- Establish design rules and layout guidelines (schematics capture, printed circuit board layout design documents).
- Recognize, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, understanding of typical failure in digital/mixed signal circuits.
- Pinpoint potential risks and provide appropriate mitigations and evaluate requirements on performance, quality, time, and/or cost.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Electronics / Electrical engineering or similar.
- 3 years of successful product development experience.
- 3+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
- Experienced in developing requirements, verification and validation plans and risk analysis.
- Able to use hardware lab equipment.
- Knowledge of microcontroller and microprocessor’s basic architecture, embedded drivers development and constraints on application development.
- Multi-tasker who can operate efficiently in a fast-paced product development environment with multiple projects at various stages of completion.
- Able to provide technical leadership
- Able to communicate well with various stakeholders.
