Our company is seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern to join our team and help us manage our financial operations. As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support initiatives such as financial operations and management reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support transactions relating to the accounts receivable or accounts payable functions (e.g. invoicing, processing receipts from customers, payments to suppliers, checking of monthly reports)
- Assist in month-end closing related tasks and gain exposure to different journal entries passed for various accounting functions
- Work extensively with spreadsheets and assist in the migration of accounting system
- Assist the team to perform control checks on finance process and provide inputs to enhance the existing policy
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure financial initiatives align with business objectives for ongoing and new initiatives
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including collecting and analyzing data
- Other ad-hoc duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
