This role supports procurement and contract management by preparing RFQ/Open Tender
documents, sourcing tenderers, coordinating queries, and assisting with subcontract administration,
payment requests, and quantity surveying matters, while also performing ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Description
- Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
- Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
- Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
- Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team
- Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
- Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
- Handle payment request received from subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure clear and substantiated verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Survey, Civil Engineering, Engineering; Possess the relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.
- Min. 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying and sub-contract administration of Construction Project.
- Experience in large-scale process construction projects.
- Computer Knowledge eg. Excel, powerpoint, words
- Able to work at TUAS area
