Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to be part of their Engineering Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the North - easily accessible.
Duties of Quantity Surveyor :
- Cost Evaluation: Conduct technical evaluations, prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and perform cost analysis for projects.
- Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors according to project requirements.
- Drawing Review: Review architectural and electrical drawings; prepare and revise designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Electrical Load Calculation: Calculate maximum electrical demand, including lighting, power consumption, and energy requirements.
- Design & Drafting: Design and draft electrical service layouts such as lighting, power, cableways, and create related diagrams.
- As-Built Drawings: Prepare and update As-Built drawings for completed projects.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate site visits with subcontractors and the operations team.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality control of electrical installations according to design drawings on-site.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Relevant experience
