Senior Project Manager (6 Months Renewable Contract)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Senior Project Manager to lead a critical tech delivery program. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in agile delivery, managing large, distributed teams, and handling complex multi-vendor integration programs. This role requires someone who can coordinate across global teams and work within established operating models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver a tech program with a budget exceeding $2-3 million.
- Coordinate efforts between 10 teams across different geographies.
- Oversee a team of 35+ full-time employees (FTEs) in a distributed environment.
- Manage dependencies and ensure smooth communication across teams and executives.
- Handle multi-vendor engagements, ensuring integration and delivery meet project requirements.
- Plan, unite teams, and navigate program risks and challenges.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in program management and tech delivery projects.
- Agile delivery experience is essential.
- Bonus: Experience in the e-commerce, telecommunications, or device protection/management industries.
- Specific experience in mobile insurance or consumer insurance sectors is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage both upwards (executive level) and downwards (team level).
- Experience working across global teams, particularly in diverse regions.
