Job Description:
- Ensure new products conform to all regulatory and product safety requirements
- Work with R&D in determine test plans for new products
- Work with 3rd party test house on the conduct of product conformance tests - Product Safety, EMC, Mechanical, Vibration, Climatic tests, etc
- Review and validate test reports from internal and external tests conducted
- Coordinate for Product Safety Factory Audit by external party
- Update and maintain of Product Safety Procedure
- Coordinate with Product Safety Body on any update for new/alternate source component listed in safety procedures
- Update and sharing of Safety regulation and information and Safety Application cost
- Sharing of Safety critical components list , labels and others as deems important
- Sharing of finding from routine Product Safety audit and follow-up
- Conduct product safety training for related staff and support respective sections on product safety information
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with at least a 2 years of working experience in Manufacturing industry
- Knowledgeable and experienced in using typical measuring tools and equipment will be an advantage
- Knowledgeable EMC, ESD, RoHS and Product Safety Tests Theory and Regulatory Compliance Standard will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Mandarin in order to handle China or Taiwan' safety mark applications
- Self-motivated, dedicated team player and able to meet deadlines
- Willing to perform Overtime
