Scrum Master (Software Development/ Oil & Gas)
12-Month Contract
Salary : Up to $7,000 depending on experience

Our client is one of the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas companies. They are actively looking for Scrum Master to join their operations.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for facilitating and guiding the Scrum team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework.
- Act as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.
- Coach Team Members: Guide the team in Agile practices and principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage Timelines: Ensure that the team meets project deadlines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as the main point of contact for external communications, including with customers and stakeholders.
- Monitor Performance: Track and report on team performance metrics, such as burndown charts.
- Promote Collaboration: Encourage effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Scrum Master role in software development.
- Excellent understanding of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., user stories, burndown charts).
- Agile Frameworks: Familiarity with other Agile frameworks like Kanban, XP, etc.
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles effectively.
- Software development: Need to have basic .Net development knowledge and SQL database.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
