Project Lead D365 F&O
About the job:
As a D365 F&O Solution Architect with focus in Supply chain you will be instrumental in designing and implementing an end-to-end solution that will optimize and streamline the Supply chain process. Prerequisite will be to have in depth domain and product knowledge in Supply chain modules. Understanding of Retail and Manufacturing modules will be an added advantage. Important to apply advanced analytical skills, best industry practices and demonstrate the value add that the investment can bring to the customers.
You will need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in: Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with full life-cycle implementation of D365FO/ Dynamics AX SCM experience.
- Deep knowledge of D365/AX SCM modules and functional capabilities including Products and Inventory, procure to pay, Order to cash, Warehouse management, Transportation management, Master planning, demand and supply forecasting, Intercompany trade, Enterprise Asset Management and other focused areas.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 for Supply Chain certifications.
- Experience and strong working knowledge across key SCM/Manufacturing modules and Microsoft products.
- Provide guidance to implementation team on various strategic areas such as ALM, Environment strategy, Integration strategy, Data Migration strategy, Security Strategy etc.
- Knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies; Azure Cloud Platform, Power Bi, PowerApps, Flow, Azure Data Lake, DevOps, RSAT
- Experience in working with Common Data Services (Dual Write) for integration with Dynamics 365 for sales and Field services.
- Work hand in hand with Project managers, program managers and project teams to ensure successful implementations.
- Coaching and mentoring team members and facilitate peer reviews.
- Understanding of Life Cycle Services (LCS), Microsoft Sure Step, Fast track engagements and Microsoft trends and specific best practices
- Excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups and/or board of directors.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.
- Previous track record delivering the full project life cycle.
What you need to do:
Managing and taking lead in executing business process requirement workshops with customer stake holders and business owners.
Mapping the business process requirements as per the best practices and solutioning them as per customers expectation to meet project objectives. Architect end to end solutions covering procurement, inventory management, warehouse management and distribution processes.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional requirement document, functional design document, testing scenarios and test scripts, issue task tracker, training manuals, configuration documents etc. that are part of project deliverables.
Value addition in identifying and creatively solutioning complex customer problems, envisioning and enabling core processes and helping the customer to meet the project objectives. The outcome of deliverables should be measurable and visible.
Designing end to end solutions that encompass all of supply chain modules including Procurement and sourcing, Inventory management, Sales & Distribution and Warehouse management. Good understanding of the financial touch points for Supply Chain, Retail and Manufacturing modules will be an added advantage.
Having good understanding of D365 F&O SCM product releases to help in optimizing and improving supply chain processes including Demand forecasting, Master planning and Order fulfilment.
Solution Architect must be effective in fostering executive level relationships and be the trusted advisor for supporting the implementation of industry best practices.
Collaborate with Business stake holder, Technical leads, Subject matter experts, Project managers, System administrators and other IT professionals to ensure the successful implementation of D365 project.
Oversee the documentation and testing process for customized solutions and integrations to third party applications.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of D365 F&O solutions to ensure it meet the business processes agreed as a deliverable in the FRD/ BRD.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in Dynamics 365 F&O, Microsoft technologies and industry best practices.
