Roles & Responsibilities
- Project Monitoring: Oversee the progress of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Supervision and Training: Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, educating them on safety practices and evaluating their performance.
- Time and Budget Management: Ensure all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety guidelines, monitor site safety, and ensure all safety requirements are met.
- Coordination and Communication: Manage and coordinate construction activities, reporting progress to the Project Manager/Project Director and resolving coordination issues with contractors and consultants.
- Documentation: Maintain a site diary, prepare and update lists of outstanding/non-compliance works, and ensure timely submissions of shop drawings and technical submittals.
- Site Inspections: Plan and conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning schedules with stakeholders, leading inspections requested by Facilities Management and other parties.
- Defects Management: Compile and track Defects Lists, addressing any issues in collaboration with consultants and contractors.
- Independent Work and Interaction: Work independently while effectively interacting with staff at all levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Experience Requirements: Bring at least three (3) years of experience as a site supervisor, with knowledge of rebar and carpentry work, and a proven ability to manage and arrange daily work for construction teams.
