Position Overview:
- The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for new-build residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in mechanical design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems for greenfield residential and commercial projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications in compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor installation and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets related to mechanical engineering work.
- Stay up to date with advancements in sustainable and energy-efficient mechanical design practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in greenfield residential and commercial building projects.
- Strong proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Knowledge of building codes, sustainability practices, and energy-efficient designs.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
