The suitable candidate will need to maintain consistent competency in area of expertise and demonstrate professional accountability for all aspect of work ( e.g. assess, evaluate, plan and treat a variety of disabilities for optimal care) which includes:
- Working with a multi-disciplinary team to assess individual client’s functional ability at regular time points
- Developing documentation templates for work-site visit/vocational assessments
- Conducting work-site visits and documentations
- Developing training materials
- Providing strategies to employers, job coach and clients to maximise the fit for work
- Collaborating with Job Coach to evaluate the clients’ vocational performance
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good team player and able to work independently
- Committed and self-motivated
