Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Head of People to lead and manage our human resources functions end-to-end, including talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and programs that align with Hydroleap’s mission and growth objectives.


This role is responsible for managing Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia.


What you will be doing


Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including talent sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent and build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and create talent acquisition plans.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing engagement initiatives and employee development programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment.
  • Manage employee feedback mechanisms and implement actions based on survey results and one-on-one discussions.

HR Strategy & Policy Development

  • Design and implement HR policies that support business objectives and comply with employment laws.
  • Oversee the development and execution of performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance organizational development, employee retention, and leadership growth.

Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure our offerings remain competitive within the industry.
  • Oversee the administration of payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Training & Development

  • Implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities to foster continuous learning and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring alignment with company needs.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure all HR operations are executed efficiently, including employee documentation, HR systems management, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Manage HR metrics and analytics to track and report on HR effectiveness and employee engagement.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR strategy development.
  • Proven experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, ideally within the technology or environmental sectors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
