Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for independent, passionate, and result-oriented individuals to join our Team. He/She has a sound understanding of the commodity market and able to identify opportunities which could enhance trade positions.
Outline:
- Junior/Assistant position
- Job rotation on US Trading hours
- Training and coaching will be provided for less experienced
Responsibilities:
- Handle commodity derivatives such as Future/Options/OTCs to hedge risks.
- Ensure proper execution of trades (Physical and Paper)
- Provide P/L and risk reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Research and gather economic and trade data which affects the prices of commodities.
- Develop and maintain quantitative analysis, derivative pricing, and risk management tools.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders e.g. Operations, Finance and Treasury etc.
- Participate in regular discussions regarding business strategy for key areas of the business portfolio
- Assist Senior Traders and participate in weekly Trader meetings
- Any other adhoc duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Excellent command in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking counter parties, other language is highly appreciated.
- Experience in derivatives products and agriculture products preferred
- A good team player with initiative, drive, and interpersonal skills.
