Product Development and Management Executive [dietary supplement and health food industry prefer]

Responsibilities Summary:

1. Product Innovation & Planning:
   -Develop and prioritize new product ideas based on market trends and customer insights.
   Conduct industry analysis, assess technologies, and define product features.
   Establish competitive positioning and unique selling points (USP).
   Create and manage NPD roadmaps, coordinating with teams using Agile methodologies.
2. New Product Development (NPD):
   -Engage contract manufacturers, collaborate with engineers, and oversee NPD discussions.
   Ensure formulations meet regulatory standards; lead product trials and testing.
   Define product specifications, finalize labeling, and coordinate packaging design.
   Provide technical documentation, research pricing, and propose costs.
   Present products to management for approval.
3. Product Launch Support:
   -Act as a technical resource for marketing; provide briefs and training to sales teams.
4. Post-Launch Management:
   -Monitor industry trends and product performance, identifying improvements.
   Address formula-related issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Process Development & Compliance:
   -Develop and enforce SOPs aligned with industry standards and QMS requirements.
6. Additional Duties:
   -Participate in projects and tasks to support company goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Nutrition, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Preferably, some experience in product development/management within the dietary supplement and health food industry.
