This role focuses on providing financial insights and key metrics to guide equipment purchase decisions while supporting process automation and ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting transactions and month-end closing for insurance products.
- Support process design and automation of data flow between the company, insurance partners, and Asurion.
- Implement controls to ensure compliance, governance, and asset protection.
- Analyze systems, risks, and processes, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, especially for inventory management.
- Provide clear reporting on inventory and logistics costs, offering insights into cost drivers, pricing, and planning metrics.
- Conduct root cause analysis on cost variances, resolving issues promptly with leadership.
- Create and maintain reports for key cost metrics, supporting both insurance and non-insurance products.
- Handle monthly reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis for stock levels and equipment costs.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement projects to enhance business efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Min 4 years of finance working experiences, preferably from Big 4/telecommunication/supply chain/logistics or insurance background
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems such as Power BI, Hyperion, Oracle or other SAP systems
- Experience working with large amounts of data and ability to comprehend and analyze data finding and forecast future trends
