We are working with a leading food and agribusiness seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the team. If you have around 15 years of experience in a Finance role within the Commodities trading sector, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Finance & Accounting Operations - Lead and oversee statutory, tax, management reporting for the Business Division; Manage budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities, including evaluation of budget utilization and performance; Ensure compliance with banking covenants and regulations, streamline processes, and foster positive relationships with banking partners to enhance financial efficiency for overseas units.
- Internal Control & Governance - Support division HQ and overseas units in improving profitability through robust financial controls and operational practices; Monitor and manage credit limits and inventory controls.
- Financial Planning & Analysis - Identify opportunities for financial optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement; Analyze forward P&L and Mark to Market to support value maximization initiatives (interest, Trade Finance, currency management, capital returns improvement, etc.); Collaborate with the trading team to address business goals, initiatives, and projects, including operational improvements, ROI evaluations, and project modeling.
- Team management - Providing support to team members; Facilitate training and information sharing regarding internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent or higher
- ACCA/ CPA/ CA certifications
- Min. 15 years of working experience, with majority of career in commodity sector
- Having an understanding of developing countries' local exposure including FX will be advantageous
- Has managed teams at both HQ and Regional Business Unit levels
- Strong finance leadership in multi-business unit environment, and familiar with commodity and FX volatility
- Ability to thrive in complex, matrix environment
