Summary:
The Senior Security Officer oversees security operations, leads a team of security personnel, and ensures the safety of the organization’s premises, personnel, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor security staff.
- Monitor daily security operations (access control, patrols, surveillance).
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements.
- Lead responses to security incidents.
- Develop and enforce security policies.
- Prepare reports on security activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other departments.
- Create training programs for staff.
Qualifications:
- O Level, NITEC/Hgher NITEC.
- Minimum 2 years in security/law enforcement, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with security technologies and regulations.
Certifications:
- Preferred: Security officer certification and First Aid/CPR.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift [X lbs].
Work Environment:
- May require irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
