SENIOR SECURITY OFFICERS

Summary:

The Senior Security Officer oversees security operations, leads a team of security personnel, and ensures the safety of the organization’s premises, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor security staff.
  • Monitor daily security operations (access control, patrols, surveillance).
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Lead responses to security incidents.
  • Develop and enforce security policies.
  • Prepare reports on security activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other departments.
  • Create training programs for staff.

Qualifications:

  • O Level, NITEC/Hgher NITEC.
  • Minimum 2 years in security/law enforcement, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with security technologies and regulations.

Certifications:

  • Preferred: Security officer certification and First Aid/CPR.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift [X lbs].

Work Environment:

  • May require irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
