Senior Business System Analyst (IT Applications)
An established company is looking for a Senior Business System Analyst to be part of the digital transformation journey! Working together as a team to modernize and transform business and IT capabilities and facilitate digital innovation, exploration and adoption of new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business users, technical teams and vendors to analyses and define business specifications, and baseline the functional requirements after user review. This includes the end to end process from requirements gathering, POC, solution analysis, system analysis, testing till delivery.
- Map business process and identify business improvement opportunities, and develop business cases with the use of sustainable and cost effective IT solutions.
- Embrace new technologies and dive deep for successful adoption.
- Bring value to business users by providing recommendation on best practices in exploiting appropriate technology, improvement of work processes, facilitating and supporting business users’ change management process and influencing their alignment with the business vision.
- Provide support to daily operational needs and resolve issues when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer/Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 6 years of relevant experience as an Senior Business System Analyst managing software applications.
- Experience in software development in earlier career will be advantageous to bridge between business and development teams and understanding the technical challenges.
- Participated in modernization/digitalization/tech refresh/IT transformation projects.
- Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Understand and involved in SDLC
- Team player, self-motivated, self-starter, keen and a quick learner
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skill
