Our client is the leading environmental, safety, and sustainability consultancy with a strong presence across Asia, offering advisory services in environmental regulations, impact assessments, and sustainable practices.
They are expanding and seeking for EIA Consultant with at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting. This role involves leading and managing environmental assessments for large-scale projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic environmental advice to clients across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and urban development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and prepare comprehensive EIAs, including environmental baseline studies, impact analyses, and management plans.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
- Manage client relationships, advising on environmental risks and sustainability strategies.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to secure approvals.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal methodology development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EIA consulting, particularly in Asia. Candidate with less than 5 years of experience will be consider for junior role.
- Strong knowledge of local environmental regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Project management and report writing skills.
- Fluency in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.
