KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform Yearly Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale Assessment for residents who can communicate and articulate the questions.
2. Conduct Bi-Yearly Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale Assessment for the worker residents.
3. Interview and perform assessments on individuals who seek admission to the nursing home.
4. Liaise with the Employer in regards with the resident’s performance and behaviour in workplace.
5. Work alongside with Occupational Therapist with regards to training of the residents for Job.
6. Provide continuous supportive counselling for residents working externally.
7. Provide Individual Psychotherapy sessions for resident under vocational training.
8. Facilitate and formulate Group Psychotherapy sessions for residents who have potential for rehab.
9. Provide Pre and Post assessment for the residents attending group Psychotherapy.
10. Facilitate and formulate Ward Therapy activities for residents in the ward and to motivate them to attend Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
11. Liaise with the OT and PT and Nurses regarding the treatment plan for selected residents for improvement during ward rounds.
12. Update the Bradfsord Wellbeing , MOAS and BPRS scores in the NHelp System subscribed at SANH-Aljunied.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
1. Any other ad-hoc duties that may assigned by the Management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
•Passionate about working in the healthcare sector
•Experience working with elderly population in a nursing home setting is a plus
•Eligible for registration or registered with the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore register of Psychologist
•Able to function independently in a complex environment
•Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player as staff is required to work closely with various multi-disciplinary teams
•Effectively bilingual in English and another local language
