Provide storage/SAN administration and security management experience in various storage technologies, inclusive of direct attached storage, Storage Area Network, and archival storage
• Supervise backups, optimisation, initiation of recovery procedures and routine troubleshooting
• Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
• Provide Backup administration and manage end to end backup infrastructure including backup job policies including Backup to disk and backup to tape
• Provide supporting documentation, reports and other information to management (e.g. backup and capacity reports)
• Experience and knowledge in supporting SAN environment and storage space management
• Performing upgrades and applying patches or firmware updates
• Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing VMware ESXi server, VMware vCenter, setting up vMotion, HA, DRS, and related VMware products such as VM vRealize Operation Manager (vROps), Update manager and other products for virtualization would be advantages.
• Experience with SAN, ServiceNow, Commvault, Veritas Backup Exec, WSUS
