Exciting ASIA PAC role, to be a “Project Director”, working with an established F&B design studio and lead our marque projects, from our Singapore studio.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities (included but not limited to)


1. Work with, and report to SOCIAL F+B’s Global Principal on all projects run through SOCIAL F+B BY "DESIGN" (SOCIAL F+B) Singapore

2. Work with integrity and initiative to deliver client’s expectations at each stage of a project, working with current team & develop future team, by guiding each member to exceed their perception of what can be achieved on each project.

3. Conduct daily meetings with team members, in Singapore and Bangkok, to ensure that the design integrity is maintained, deliverable milestones are being met & that all team members are performing up to Social F+B’s and your high standard.

4. Together with Global Principal, share the fiscal responsibility for projects. This includes Full knowledge of the contractual obligations for each project: scope, schedule, budget, fee, payment schedule and terms & conditions; review and approval of all project invoices and authorization of all project related expenses, including travel.

5. Achieve maximum profitability on each project.

6. Review all project team members’ timesheets and maintain allocated time constraints.

7. Maintain professional relationships with all clients; seeking to improve the quality of their properties and win future work.

8. Mentor new staff members, training them in all office standards and procedures.

9. Inform Global Principal of all project and employee-related issue that require their immediate attention.

10. Participate in studio discussions that relate to project strategies, billing status, staffing requirements, business development and recruiting efforts.

11. Activity participates in the Business Development and Public Relations efforts of the firm whenever and wherever possible.

12. Participate in maintaining relationships with existing clients and nurture relationships with potential new clients.

13. Participate in the establishment and maintenance of design standards for the film.

14. Keep abreast of interior construction industry trends that may influence design scheme.

15. Travel for project when necessary.

Requirements:


Candidates should ideally possess the following:

  1. A recognized Architecturel or Design qualification from an Internationally renowed Institution.
  2. Minimium 10 years of F&B Design experience.
  3. Has worked in a restaurant or behind a bar.
  4. Passion to inspire and lead a team of talented F&B designers.
  5. Excellent at presenting to clients.
  6. Strong software skills, able to work independently as well as lead a team.
