Service Technician will be required to service, repair and calibrate a wide range of torque measuring equipment to company standards & procedures in our SAC-SINGLAS accredited laboratory. This will involve lifting and applying weights to calibration equipment, making adjustments as required and recording the results accurately to produce calibration certificates.
This hands-on role also involves the set-up/repair of equipment to the required tolerances and fault finding to component level.
Attention to detail to meet quality standards is essential, together with the ability to multi-task and think laterally in problem solving.
Responsibilities:
1. To carry out calibrations & adjustment to the required standards.
2. Setup of instrumentation/equipment.
3. Fault finding and repair of equipment.
4. To receive, interpret and carry out the requests of customers (internal and external) with regards to calibrations.
5. To advise laboratory management promptly of potential or actual issues requiring action.
A minimum qualification of Diploma in electronics, electrical, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
