Main Responsibilities
- Research & Development for machine tool products and technologies (CNC Milling Machines and it’s Automation)
- Development of Customized Machines for our customers.
- Collaboration with main company departments from Sales, Marketing, Product-Management, Production, Supply-Chain, Customer-Support and Controlling.
- Design of rigid and high-accuracy structural parts as well as lightweight-parts for fast, high-acceleration-applications in teamwork with Simulation- and Test-Engineers.
- Design of mechatronic-units with pneumatic, hydraulic, servo-electric and sensor components.
- Involvement in Concept-Design, Structural-Simulation, Detailing, Prototyping, Testing, Production, Customer-Support and Surveillance of machine-performance at our customers.
- Strong guidance by experienced senior-engineers along the career-path.
- Collaboration with extensive global network of Makino R&Ds, Sales-Regions and Key-Suppliers.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable University
- Strong interest in product-design for the production-environment as key-enabler for many innovative products.
- Creativity for innovative solutions as well as strong analytical skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design
- Good time management, pro-active, self-motivated and high sense of responsibility.
