Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in evaluating and validating client KYC information and documentation, ensuring adherence to the Company's AML/KYC guidelines. This includes reviewing the background of clients and independently verifying the submitted information when required.
- Perform name screening against applicable sanction lists, PEP lists, adverse news, and any other relevant sources. Ensure that screening assessments on potential matches are accurately documented to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with the Front Office to ensure timely completion of clients’ onboarding, periodic reviews, and changes of circumstances.
- Ensure that client data in the internal system is promptly updated in accordance with current regulations and group policies.
- Assist in performing daily compliance activities, such as conducting checks and monitoring of client transactions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide assistance in organizing and managing the Company's policies and manuals within the designated archives.
- Liaison with Front Office and Management on outstanding issues relating to account documentation and transaction monitoring.
- Assist in maintaining the Company internal control list.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Profile
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferably in Private Banking industry and good understanding of KYC/AML/Compliance/Risk requirements
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
