Position : Transport Specialist
Contract Duration : Immediate -11mths
Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30 am to 6.00pm
Fridays : 8.30 am to 5.30pm
Saturdays : Day Off
Lunch : 1 hour
Recommended Salary ranges from $2,000 - $2400 depending on qualification and relevant working experience.
Job scope
• Team leader of Transport Section.
• Liaise with vendors for quotations and provision of transport services.
• Put up Approval of Requirement (AOR) for vehicle indentation.
• Ensure road tax and maintenance service are in order.
• Ensure the availability and serviceability of SCDF vehicles and installed devices.
• Manage the daily detailing and attendance of Full-time National Service (NSF) drivers.
• Support in exercises, events and standbys at National-level, Force-level and Unit-level.
• Monitor scrap car indention (used in simulation for exercises and events).
• Put up car accident report for information and servicing when required.
• Ensure all relevant records are updated (e.g. for mileage, accident records and list of vehicle records).
• Monitor the 1st and last Parade task daily.
