Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Lead technical design discussions and provide input on architectural decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to our products.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on back-end or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
- Proven experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance, and reliable software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with database design and management, both relational and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, essential for effective communication with shareholders.
