About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, coordination, and implementation of projects within process piping plants, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of mechanical engineering projects related to process piping systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery within set parameters.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess safety protocols, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and documentation related to project specifications.
- Troubleshoot engineering challenges and propose effective solutions to enhance project efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven working experience in process piping plants or similar industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping designs, and engineering principles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Singapore's industry regulations and safety standards.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an advantage.
