Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated M&E Project Engineer Cum Drafter to manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing project tasks while ensuring compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and collaborating with diverse teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all M&E works on construction sites, ensuring adherence to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare and review M&E designs and drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues related to M&E installations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise.
- Prepare and submit regular project status reports, including updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and submit shop drawings, Revit BIM for coordination, as-built drawings, and construction drawings.
- Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and secure M&E materials and equipment.
- Assist in the commissioning and handover of completed M&E systems to clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in similar industries within Singapore.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; ability to develop in Revit is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle technical challenges on-site.
- Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to $6,000 basic + variable bonus.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
