We are seeking a motivated and talented student developer for an internship opportunity to work on our CEGID Point of Sales system. This position offers hands-on experience in retail software development and the potential for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of our CEGID Point of Sales software
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improvements
- Debug and resolve software issues- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation- Learn about retail operations and point of sale systems
Profile
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python (specify the primary language used in your CEGID POS development)
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL- Basic understanding of software development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of retail operations or experience with POS systems
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of user interface design principle
