Join a leading oil & gas company as a Trade Finance Office, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing Letters of Credit, payments, and funding arrangements. Work closely with counterparties, bankers, and operations teams to support the company's global trade activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with counterparties and bankers for negotiation, document preparation and submission of Letters of Credit and Import and Export issuance.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable for physical products trading deals and provide accurate trade information for monthly closing.
- Liaise with Operations for trade/shipment information to handle cargo and direct expense payments. Preparation of management reports.
- Maintain updated trade information in the trade system.
- Provide payment and collection information for funding arrangements to the Treasury.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with 4 years’ experience in Trade Finance
- Experience in Structured Trade and Commodity Finance Middle Office role is desirable
- Working experience with an Oil & Gas trading company is desirable
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit and (UCP 600)
- Possess good planning and organizing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
