Job Description
As a Warehouse & Operations Manager for a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) client in contract logistics, your role is pivotal to ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the supply chain. Here's an elaboration of the key expectations:
1. End-to-End Logistics Management
- Warehouse Operations: You will manage all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory and outbound shipments.
- Operations Management: Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly while maximising productivity.
- S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning): Work closely with internal teams to align planning with forecasts to maintain optimal stock/inventory.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Main Point of Contact: Primary liaison with the client to handle all queries, issues or escalations.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Contract Management: Ensure compliance with contractual agreements with clients.
3. Cost & Profitability Management
- Profit Margins & Cost Reduction: Identify gaps to minimise costs and areas of opportunities to maximise profits. Oversee the cost structure of warehouse operations for effective management (budget and quality).
4. Leadership & Team Management
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage warehouse and operations teams
- Financial Accountability: You will be accountable for operational budgets and financial performance.
Successful Candidates:
- Diploma/Degree in SCM or Business Administration
- 8 years in warehouse and operation management in 3PL sector
- People management and leadership
