About our client: Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
*Please note that this role will be hired on a contract basis to support our client’s ongoing project.
About the role:
Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to ensure optimal production efficiency and alignment with demand forecasts. Coordinate with various departments to balance production capacity and resource availability.
JDE System Utilization:Leverage JDE (JD Edwards) for managing production planning activities. Ensure accurate and timely entry of data related to Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to facilitate effective planning and inventory management.
Production Planning:Create detailed production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities. Monitor production schedules to ensure timely execution and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing demands.
Inventory Management:Collaborate with supply chain and inventory management teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement teams to ensure seamless production operations. Facilitate communication between departments to address any production-related issues or bottlenecks.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of production plans. Prepare reports for management, highlighting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that all production planning activities adhere to industry regulations and quality standards. Maintain documentation as required for compliance purposes.
About you: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management with 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience in production planning for Pharmaceutical / Life Science industries. Skilled in using JDE system.
