About our client: Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
*Please note that this role will be hired on a contract basis to support our client’s ongoing project.
About the role:
Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective material flow.
Material Management: Develop and implement material management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure timely availability of materials.
JDE Material Order Management: Utilize JDE (JD Edwards) software for managing material orders, tracking inventory levels, and processing purchase orders. Ensure accurate and timely order entry and management within the JDE system.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality of materials and services. Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for enhancing supply chain efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on material needs and delivery schedules. Facilitate communication between departments to address any supply chain challenges.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Participate in projects aimed at optimizing the supply chain and enhancing overall performance.
About you: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management with 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience in supply chain and material management from Pharmaceutica / Life Science industries. Skilled in JDE system.
