Job Description:
As the Deputy Director, Finance, you will oversee all financial operational aspects of the Company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the agency's mission and goals. To do so, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring financial compliance and all matters relating to accounts payable, fixed assets, billing and loan matters for pre-employment and learning adults, general account receivables, financial reporting and the management of donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Director in developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide senior management with insights into the company's financial performance
- Monitor and analyze financial KPIs to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Support the Finance Director in developing and implementing financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for strategic decision-making Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership positionStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience in the technology industry preferred
