Supervisor (Renovation / Commercial)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee large-scale renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
  • Manage daily site activities, monitor progress, quality, and safety, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Serve as the primary onsite leader, promoting and ensuring safe work practices across all teams.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, managing schedules, snagging, and client engagement to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with project handover plans, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Identify and resolve any project issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Implement key project processes, ensuring strict compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Lead progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing challenges and ensuring that project milestones are met.
  • Review and assess any project variations or delays, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Meet monthly project and sales targets, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company.
  • Provide detailed project status updates to upper management.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure the successful completion of all projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction or renovation industry, with a strong background in interior renovation project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent people management skills, with a track record of managing construction crews and subcontractors effectively.
  • Ability to control project costs and minimize material wastage.
  • Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and perform shift work when required.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in liaising with homeowners, contractors, and vendors.
