Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the production machines and ensure tasks performed are completed within full cGMP compliance
- Operate the production machines and ensure production meets daily output
- Perform mould set-up and mould insert cleaning as and when required
- Use optical and mechanical devices for measurement and inspection of moulded parts
- Perform in-process quality inspection during production to ensure the quality of products meet specifications
- Perform troubleshooting, servicing, calibration and preventive maintenance on production machines, jigs or fixtures
- Support new machines setup
- Perform tasks in accordance to safety procedures to ensure plant safety
- Perform data collection and recording of machine and process data on specified data log book or record sheet
- Ensure all processes and activities carried out are consistent and comply with approved procedures and meet quality standards
Experience
- Minimum NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in a fully automated manufacturing environment
- Must have hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical components.
- Good understanding of electrical and/or mechanical diagrams
- Possess knowledge in polymer engineering / science / manufacture and experience with moulding high precision parts will be an added advantage
- Able to perform 12 hours shift work and is willing to work overtime on both weekdays and weekends when required
- Willing to work in clean room environment
- Responsible and independent worker who requires minimal supervision
- Must be a team player
