- Assist the General Manager in planning and coordinating production schedules to fulfill customer demands.
- Monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with FSMS, SFA regulations, and environmental standards.
- Supervise and train production staff, promoting a collaborative team culture.
- Analyze production data, report on performance metrics, and identify improvement areas.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Support quality assurance efforts and resolve production issues as they arise.
- Contribute to budgeting and cost management to achieve financial goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, applying lean manufacturing techniques.
- Aid in inventory management to maintain adequate supply levels for uninterrupted production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Proficient in data analysis and experienced with production management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with ISO 22000 and HACCP standards is an advantage.
