QS Job scope :
- Handle the tendering process such as measurement, sourcing quotation, quantities taking-off and etc.
- Familiar with tendering platforms : Ariba, Coupa, GeBiz, Sesami, Tenderboard, VendorCafe etc.
- Study, understand & interpret the requirement for tender submission.
- Carry out the necessary preparation and arrangement for tender submission.
- Source for required materials and vendors, handle interim progress claim, variation of sub-contractors’ progress claims and variation orders
- To source for more suppliers, sub-cons and vendors on top of our existing one for more competitive pricing strategy
- Handle project from award of contract till completion including final accounts.
- Work scope includes handling and award of sub contracts, progress claims and etc.
- To undertake specific task/assignment as and when directed by the Management
- Attend Site Meetings and take charge of all clients' request / feedbacks.
Business Development Job Scope :
- To help improve and establish better relationship with our existing client and partners
- To source for and obtain more opportunities and business deals from potential and recurring customers
- To come up with a strategy for the company to secure more projects and sales volume, while implementing measures to improve and increase profit margin and decrease wastage to become leaner.
REQUIREMENT :
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management / Business Development or relevant/related industry qualification.
- At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in QS or Contracts / Tender field in Commercial and Interior Fit-out Projects.
- Able to INDEPENDANTLY tender for a project, from getting Quotations, checking Supplier Prices, preparing Tender Document, pricing accurately and competitively to help the company successfully secure projects.
- SHARP and sensitive to numbers and cost involved, with little to no room for errors / mistakes.
- Meticulous and Detailed in nature / personality : due to work requirement of dealing with important contracts and figures.
- Be able to manage project costing and familiar with prices, so as to control the cost and expenses of the project to ensure project is profitable.
- Proficient in English and necessary documentation/administrative work (Eg : Professional email correspondence with client and relevant consultants/parties).
