Job Description
- Oversee the planning and all project operations.
- Manage the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
- Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
- Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
- Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
- Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
- Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
- Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.
- Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.
- Supervise daily site activities.
Requirements
- Min Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects for water treatment facility or process plant.
- Professional project management certification (eg. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
- Good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.
- Hands-on” attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
