Job Responsibilities:
· Work with project team members to plan, implement and maintain effective WSHE related plans
· Review and upkeep safety documentation (Safety & Health Management System, Safe Work Procedure, Risk Assessment, etc)
· Conduct WSH and ENV compliance inspections, organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and prepare safety reports as well as recommend measures for improvement for safety issues
· Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
· Evaluate and identify WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices and recommend improvement measures
· Enforce safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations
· Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance
· Ensure safe working environment in accordance with the WSH Act and Regulations and the requirement under the construction contract
· Any other ad hoc duties that may be assigned by management
Job Requirements:
· Attain at least Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health / Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Training Course conducted by MOM Accredited Training Providers or equivalent
· MOM registered WSH Officer and NEA registered ECO
· Preferably 2~3 years’ experience in construction projects in Singapore
· Good communication and interpersonal skills and good command of English in speaking and writing
· Self-motivated and able to work independently
· Possess Motor Vehicle Driving License will be an added advantage
