Research Associate – In Vivo Operations (Animal Handling/ URGENT)

Our client is a GLP-compliant and AAALAC accredited, preclinical CRO based in Singapore. They offer a range of preclinical services, from GLP toxicology safety assessments, aerosol generation and delivery to research support services to help achieve research goals. We are currently looking for a Research Associate – In Vivo Operations to support the operations.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time involvement in the practical conduct of studies
- To perform daily work activities with animal housing/animal treatment as planned
- To check plausibility and quality of generated raw data
- To perform animal treatment activities and cross-functional activities for studies
- To perform endpoint measurements in study, such as urine collection, blood collection & injections
- May take up additional tasks in other areas e.g. Taskforce, validation and committees
Requirements:
- Possess 1-2 years of similar experience
- Possess good knowledge of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) understanding of Principles of Good Lab Practices (GLP), and the American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) principles.
- Responsible Care and Use of Laboratory Animals Course (RCULAC) certificate
- Analytical, methodical and quality conscious.
- Preferably possess degree/ diploma in biological sciences from recognized institution or equivalent ITE qualification with 1 - 2 years of similar experience.
