Job Description
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate MEICA systems seamlessly into existing building design, ensuring compatibility and optimal operation.
- Conduct technical reviews of MEICA engineering designs and proposals, recommending improvements to optimise equipment constructability and efficiency.
- Develop MEICA construction plans, sequencing, resource allocation, and logistical considerations.
- Prepare cost estimates for MEICA components and services, considering design changes and project specifics.
- Provide technical leadership in the installation of MEICA systems.
- Oversee the entire MEICA construction process, ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications, industry standards, safety standards, and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor MEICA construction team, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the client / stakeholders, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring MEICA systems align with their operational requirements.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and industry regulations on the construction site.
- Provide regular project updates, technical reports, and installation strategies to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in the planning and construction of waste to energy plants or major process industry / industrial / infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record as a MEICA construction manager in large scale projects, managing internal / external stakeholders – HSE, QA, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Client, Authorities.
- Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and resource management
- Ability to identify and address construction challenges and issues promptly.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements related to construction logistics.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Profound knowledge of MEICA systems and technologies.
- Excellent coordination skills and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with a diverse team.
